Refering to the TheOnlineCitizen post on FB, in supporting the 21 Malaysians group getting charged. Many people in the comment section do not agree with the moderator's view and insist on punishment based on the existing law. So, here is the message I left for them to contemplate:
So many here are talking about "law is law, once broken must be punished accordingly". So i wanna ask this... if next time a group of Singaporean activists broke the laws which are against the spirit of democracy (most of the time subjected to the interpretation of the authority), will you voice out and lend your support to them? or do you want to see them getting punished also? What could happen to this group of Malaysians , can also happen to any of you in singapore.
So, which side are you on? Freedom of expression (Freedom of assembly) or the oppressive anti-democratic laws which suppress and stifle the oppositions right now?
The universal value of Freedom of Assembly, in my understanding, i don't think it only applies to the freedom to gather at Hong Lim Park. When talking about the law, i urge everyone also to talk about the spirit and the value of the law which is derived from. Don't fall into the logic of the authority, you must always have independent thinking and question the authority about what does it mean by Freedom, justice and democracy.
Please support this group of Malaysians, and tell the authority the freedom of assembly is never about police permit and the location must be Hong Lim Park.
We must believe that Singaporeans are mature enough and are peaceloving people. Open public peaceful assemblies manifest a sign of confident and mature-thinking democratic society, will never be a problem of public order. Authority shall not be afraid of people's opinions on the streets and elsewhere if they think they do nothing wrong.

XXX (someone replies me), you just cannot mix up traffic offence and 'the offence' because of peaceful assembly. When you commit a traffic offence, basically you harm others on the streets. How do you harm others when it is just a peaceful assembly?
I am questioning your principles and your belief if you agree with the current law of Public Order Act?
Sure singapore authority has the right to enforce their law to everyone including singaporeans let alone malaysians and other foreigners. But I am questioning if they are right about particular law? If they go against the universal values of freedom and democracy, decide to go ahead to take actions on the citizens and the foreigners, please allow many of us to criticise the authority and let everyone knows what the authority is doing.

Germany doesn't have this kind of law such as
Public Order Act to limit its citizen to confine the gatherings and protests in
certain places. Germany respect its citizens to have the freedom of expression.
We are not people just love to break the law for the sake of breaking the law.
Yes, SG authority surely has its right to enforce the law
and take action on anyone. Those have broken the law might be bearing the
consequences, but I am questioning about the nature of the particular law, and
asking you if you agree and see nothing wrong also with this Public Order Act that can take action on your fellow singaporeans in future? (can i have your answer
on this? will you push for reform in future?) Can I not criticize this law
which I deem is undemocratic?
